The network focuses on the photochemistry of environmentally relevant surface reactions in monolayers and thin films deposited on various substrates. Example model systems are water and ice films, with and without coadsorbates, such as e.g. halogens, deposited on silicate or carbon surfaces. Experimental work and theoretical modelling will be carried out.
